Clearly The Parlotones are trying to make it in America. This album is wall-to-wall alternative rock made for campus radio, they same way Daughtry's music is. The one track that is not rock, “Down By The Lake”, is an attempt at making a country song and Kahn Morbee even tries to add a country twang to his vocals, while he sings about having dollars in his pockets. Hmmm.....
