Review

Rock stars and pop stars are the priests of a more and more secular world and though this album isn't evangelical, it provides the spiritual comfort, the counselling and healing, that all great music should in times of trouble.

  Change is good - Ibhokhwe

When I first heard "Ingoma" I was in love with the Vocals and knew that Thandiswa has evolved and she is willing to try new things. Then I heard "Iyeza", a beautiful track, very real and honest and gives a listener a visual image of what "Ukuthwasa" is. My Fav tracks on the Album are Iyeza,Ibokwe,Ndimkhonzile,Ingoma and Izilo. Warning, some people might now like this album because it's hard core , meaning the vocals remingd alot of people about "Intwaso" and African people are scared of it. But for enjoyment sake this album for me is the best effort that Thandiswa has ever done solo. Buy the Album, and you will go on the red sand of anywhere in African and the album is so rich like the African soils, our soils have maltitude layers.......so are the Africans.
