Wired for a world invasion Arno Carstens has gathered his New Porn cohorts for the release of his second solo album, The Hello Goodbye Boys. Driving the crusade, a rhythm fuelled Albert Frost on guitar laying down blues inflected rock melodies and Brendon Jury, flighting tenuous violin sound-scapes over Arno’s powerful, impassioned vocals. On the first single (Hole Heart) Arno reigns it in a shade providing a soothing counterpoint to the anthemic potential (Feel It) and rocking beats (Bad City) yet to be unleashed.

If you love the first album, you'll love this one. Arno can pat himself on the back for this one. The album definitely has a more mature sound than 'Another Universe'.

I am a dj of a rockprogram on a local radiostation in The Netherlands. I received the cd of Arno and I loved it. Great song with beautiful lirics. I just played the song Feel it in my show. You can listen to me program on www.alphenstadfm.nl via livestream. The program name is Cracks. Tuesdayevening 19.00 untill 21.00 GMT + 1 hour.

I found that this CD has a more upbeat feel than Another Universe, with some sounds that reminded me of the Springbok Nude Grils days, but with a rich maturity. Well done.
