The mighty
Westlife return with their eighth album and it's a love-filled offering that will provide the soundtrack to summer romance and beyond. Titled
THE LOVE ALBUM, the latest from the Irish group is a collection of 11 of the most classical and memorable love songs of all time.
The repertoire was chosen by the group themselves and so the delivery of these classics is heartfelt adn intimate. Long-term collaborator Steve Mack produced the album, which was recorded in London, Dublin and Sweden during breaks on this year's "Face to Face" tour. Among its many highlights is a duet with Delta Goodrem on "All Out Of Love".
The first single to be taken from the THE LOVE ALBUM is "The Rose", originally a huge hit for Bette Milder in 1980. Other standouts include Westlife's inimitable take on the likes of "You Light Up My Life", "Total Eclipse Of The Heart" and "You've Lost That Loving Feeling".
Westlife have always been top of the pops with South African music fans and this album is destined to find a gratefu fanbase that crosses all ages and other barriers...
