As their latest album, the main theme of the songs is about political corruption, alien invasion, New World Order conspiracies and more conventional love songs. On its release, it topped the album charts in 19 countries. It also debuted at number 3 on the Billboard 200 chart, selling 128,000 copies.

The Resistance is my first Muse album. The music sounds like a mix of Radiohead and Queen with some Pink Floyd added for good measure. Best tracks are Uprising and Resistance. I also liked the seamless blend of some popular classical notes. If you have never listened to Muse, do yourself a favour and get this album.
