Born in England, raised in South Africa and now living in America,
David Aldo is a remarkable musical talent. He released his debut album in 1993 and the single "I'm Yours", went to No.1 on radio in South Africa and in the Mediterranean. He followed this with two No.1 songs off his second solo album
RISING SUN, produced by Grammy nominee Cedric Samson.
After four solo albums and three compilation records David moved to Los Angeles to further his career in the entertainment business. Based in Los Angeles David continues to write and perform his music and among other things he is one of the music producers for the Oprah Winfrey Show. David has written and produced songs for movies and is the voice on the "Armor All" National TV commercial as well as being musical director of "Steel Therapy", a reality based television show currently being filmed.
He performes 250 gigs every year and has a longstanding contract at the Beverly Hills Hotel where he performs to clientele ranging from Donald Trump, Oprah Winfrey to Mick Jagger and Robbie Williams. David performed at Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore's wedding at their home in 2005 and has also performed at private parties for celebrities like Dustin Hoffman and Russell Crowe.
THE TIMES is David Aldo's sixth solo album and is his most personal work yet. A fusion of acoustic pop and hip-hop and alternative rock, THE TIMES is heralded by first single "What a Fine Day" which has enjoyed widespread playlisting on SA radio. The album is packed with potential hit singles - from the moving ballads "Could've Been" and "I'll Be There" to the pulsating pop masterpiece "Someone's Kissing".
