I know this review is a bit premature, as I have not completed the game yet (hence the 4 stars) but so far so good. First of all graphics. It's sweet as candy still. Basically the same as the first one. Even with my old GeForce 9800GTX it still looks really good. Sound is accurate and appropriate and not overwhelming and unnecessary. If you have a good pair of earphones it's quite invaluable as some side quests use sound (and sight of course) to locate a person or object. The game world is much bigger than Arkham Asylum. It can sometimes feel and look a bit confusing, but the game eases you into the new styles of fighting, character control and gadgets quite nicely. Although some areas are unlocked later in the game as you progress, it's pretty much free roaming. I didn't feel like I was forced to go into a certain direction or to complete certain missions. Batman itself got quite a few new moves and combos up his sleeve, especially when it comes to gliding. You have much more control over this and although essentially the same, it is different from Arkham Asylum where you basically just steered left or right while descending slowly. Although you could steer the Bat up and down, this was a slow process. Now, however, you can dive bomb, mid flight and just before you hit the ground, you pull back on one of the analog sticks (if you have a gamepad) and Batman will rapidly skim the surface of the earth like a hover board. If you generate enough speed with the downward plunge and pull back up and glide, you will gain height again quite rapidly. Flying (gliding) this time, is heaps of fun. As I've mentioned, I have not played too far in the game so I cannot comment too much on the actual story or gadgets. Most gadgets are the same, apart from a few extra upgrades to the Bat claw and a new smoke pellet from what I've seen so far. I'm really enjoying the game so far and would definitely recommend it.
