Short description

Set both in the past and the present day, this is the story of a King who is given a gemstone by a dying Indian. The stone is cursed and causes the king to become possessed by the spirit of the mischievous Indian. It is up Mr. Bones, the royal witch doctor to cure his King and get rid of this cursed stone by returning the gem to its home in an Indian fishing village. The magic stone also transports them to the present time, where they have great difficulty dealing with modern technology.

Long description

The follow-up to the most successful South African film of all-time, MR. BONES 2: BACK FROM THE PAST, is the story of Hekule, the King of Kuvukiland who is given a gemstone by the dying Kunji Balanadin. The stone is cursed and causes Hekule to become possessed by the spirit of the mischievous Kunji. It is up Mr. Bones, the royal witch doctor to cure his King and get rid of this cursed stone by returning the gem to its home in an Indian fishing village.

I'll have to agree with the top comment. The american influence was VERY annoying as well (sadly seeping into everything local). The word 'ass' was an unnessesory addition to the film. And as for that radio annoncement about the restaurant was revolting. The announcer on the radio should be ashamed to be speaking in such an uneducated accent. We are SOUTH AFRICANS not americans (thanks God). Ass is a donkey, #*@% is the correct term which means poepal. Come on Schuster, you can do better than that. Come one South Africa - REMAIN LOCAL.

I am SOth African, but I did not enjoy this movie AT ALL! I thought it was weak and the story line stupid... Come on, that acting was terrible too!
