Long description
Cats and dogs reign on Nintendo 3DS, with the animal-oriented Pets edition of Sims 3. Players design their pet characters by choosing from more than 40 breeds of dogs, big and small, or 20 breeds of cat, and then add customizations to appearance and personality. The look of nearly any real-life dog or cat can be re-created in the game, and player-selected traits lead toward laziness, loyalty, pride, playfulness, or other custom personality characteristics. Pets can be controlled directly, through menus of player-selected actions such as "chase" or "dig." Cats and dogs can improve their skills, and learn to forage for food on their own if they have to, or to perform entertaining tricks for their appreciative owners. Players can control up to three characters in the game, including any mix or match of Sim pets or people. As in the original Sims 3 for 3DS, players can earn coins and use Karma Powers to interact with their characters, for better or worse. Pets can be traded with other players though Street Pass connectivity.
